Honoring the Legacy: 2026 Annual Citywide MLK Celebration
The MLK Committee of El Paso is honored to announce the 2026 Annual Citywide MLK Celebration. As we gather to reflect on the life and enduring mission of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., we invite the El Paso community to join us in a powerful observance of unity, justice, and nonviolence.
This year’s celebration serves as a call to action for our city to continue “Amplifying the Legacy of Dr. King” through community solidarity and service.

The citywide celebration will be a time of reflection and inspiration, featuring keynote speakers, musical tributes, and a commitment to the principles of equality that Dr. King championed.

January 5, 2026 – The MLK Committee of El Paso continues to bridge the gap between community needs and policy. We recently met with the County Judge, Commissioners, and fellow advocates to ensure Dr. King’s vision remains at the forefront of our local government’s priorities.
